Differences Between MSSQL and MySQL

MSSQL VS MySQL:

These two database system is the most important database system which is used at wide range and supports to the XML system.

First one is MySQL is open source system in which knowledge is pooled by different peoples form different places in all over the world. And this is the plus point of the MySQL due to this continually improve the general program. where as MSSQL is closed source program.

MySQL is free of cost it means any person can use MySQL where as MSSQL is not. To use MSSQL firstly you have to pay price and buy then you will be able to use.

MySQL is database system which provides different kind to users specifically in derived engines. Such as Berkeley DB, Sybase, innodb etc., where as MSSQL have limited option to the users only Sybase.

A very important feature of MySQL is required lowest space of disk capacity where as MSSQL needs higher space disk capacity and due to this it can create problem during development of database because it requires adequate capacity.

MySQL can handled by beginners it is very easy to use, where as MSSQL is very complex which can used only by professionals.

Basic performance supports by MySQL because you an easily to work with it and result is also great. Where as MSSQL is lower than MySQL

MySQL can work with different platforms such as Linux, UNIX all etc. where as MSSQL work with only windows.
