Employee learns more from training programs if they are motivated highly to learn i.e. when they really want to learn the content of training program. Employees tend to feel this way if they believe they are able to learn, actually benefited from the training, are aware of their needs to learn and have the basic skills needed to attend the training. Managers can influence a ready attitude in a variety of ways. They can provide feedback that encourages the employee, motivate them by appreciating, etc.
