A project is a unique undertaking with a definite beginning and end. It requires resources, is driven by people, and aims to achieve predetermined goals. Therefore, a project is ad hoc because it has a defined beginning and end; contains a unique product, service or result because it creates unique deliverables; and it is incremental, that is, developed in stages. The success of a project depends on the delivery to customers of a product or service with quality standards to meet their needs, within the scope of the contract. Therefore, the focus on the quality of products and services is one of the main challenges for companies.
2. What are the FIVE steps in a project lifecycle?
Phase 5: Continuous Improvement
are business processes designed to identify flaws in the process and then figure out the best way to eliminate them. For this, it defines the so-called KPIs, metrics that measure the efficiency of a process.
5. What can a project manager do at the planning stage to make sure the project team works effectively?
Project managers need to create a comprehensive set of project plans to establish a clear project roadmap. A project manager needs to perform several project planning steps to complete a project effectively: create a project plan, create a resource plan, financial plan, quality plan, risk plan, acceptance plan, communication plan, plan procurement, contract with suppliers, and conduct phase reviews.

7. What steps can you take to develop a budget for a project?
The following strategies can be adopted:
Understand the real needs and wants of stakeholders: Often, what stakeholders say they need or want in a project is not as simple as it sounds. This can lead to unclear goals and expectations on both sides of the table. If the project manager, sponsor, team members, and vendors do not have a deep understanding of the true wants of stakeholders, it is nearly impossible to determine what the project needs are.
9. What are some of the risks associated with projects? (i.e. What can go wrong in a project)
Organizational risks or tolerances for them vary from project to project and even within the same project over time. However, it is possible to identify common types of risk in projects: Cost Risks: These risks occur when the cost and scope of the project are not precisely defined.Those in leadership positions have a responsibility to make their employees perform better individually and collectively. There are different ways to achieve this, all complementary. The biggest secret of a project manager is being able to add ways to organize your team.
Some tips might be:
- Provides feedback;
- Get the most out of each employee;
- Be a motivator;
- Adopt management software.

human, financial, and material resources, coordinate with stakeholders, manage conflicts, and communicate decisions and results.
13.What can you do if the project deadlines are not met and the project is running behind schedule?
Add more resources: Another option is to put more resources in the project. For example, if the project allows it, help can be sought from other departments. You can also assign more people to the project, but always remember that when new people join the project, they need to be trained and familiarized with the project first - you can't use them right away.
14.Explain what project closure is and the steps that need to be taken for closure and review?
These laws are intended to protect customers from purchasing unsafe and inferior products, and also to protect workers. As a company, it is your responsibility to ensure quality products and good programs for your employees. The most prominent laws are those on the minimum wage. As a company, compliance with the law is not only your responsibility, but you must ensure a fair deal for your customers and employees.
16.Provide and explain two names of legislation that may impact on project management plans.
