Task 3.3 Forecast the future traffic volumes (2023) based on the traffic growth rate. Due to normal growth of the Reno metropolitan area, the traffic demands at the study intersections have been growing and will grow at a rate of 2% per year. Therefore, the traffic demands at the intersections will be higher than the existing even without the proposed grocery store (the traffic demands in 2023 without the project-generated traffic is referred to as the background traffic conditions).

Task 3.4 Forecast the intersection traffic volumes generated by the new store.
