Why beowulf is a work of christian propaganda assignment

In addition to the biblical allusions in “ Beowulf”, praises to he “ Almighty God”, “ the Lord”, “ Heavenly Shepherd”, and “ the Almighty Father” are prominent throughout the poem. For instance, “ And may the Divine Lord / in His wisdom grant the glory of victory / to whichever side He sees fit,” (685-687). Beowulf and other characters would have thanked one of their many gods (if they thanked them at all ) because they were pagan . Mentions to one are navy and most to the time unnecessary, leading the reader to the conclusion that the mentions were added into the poem.

According to Checkering, “ Beowulf” was transcribed around the ear 10TH in West Saxon (the area around and including present-day England).
