The concept of environment includes all internal and external factors that can affect the patient or person (Montgomery et al., 2017). Internal and external factors may include physical location, family, living or working environment, culture, religion, and socioeconomic status. The ACME ADN program's mission to uphold the art of nursing through evidence-based practice while utilizing the latest technology will help graduates address all factors, internal or external, that could affect the patient or person.
