Exceptional teaching quality
A great education begins with exceptional teachers. Studying at a university with a reputation for excellent teaching is critical to your education. The University of Huddersfield is a national leader in teaching excellence, offering one of the best educational opportunities in the UK. You will learn from highly qualified academic personnel who will encourage you to develop into an active, self-directed learner who is prepared to join the workforce. Huddersfield University is the only institution in the UK where every permanent teaching staff member is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. This national organization recognizes experience in areas where employees show a personal contribution to effective learning.
Huddersfield has an industrial heritage, which can still be seen today. For instance, Taylor and Lodge, one of the town's oldest wool producers, continue to produce large quantities of wool. The group has contributed to Kate Middleton and Prince William's Royal Wedding in 2011 by supplying supplies for their big day. As a student, there is plenty to keep you amused. You won't want to skip the annual Huddersfield food and drink festival, which features international cuisine, musical entertainment, and chef presentations. Additionally, if you're a football fan, Huddersfield Town football club competes in the Championship and has a 30,000-seat stadium near the University.
Natural beauty abounds in this region of the world. The beautiful Yorkshire Dales are to the north, while the Peak District is to the south. Visit Whernside, the Dales' highest elevation, for panoramic views of England.
Huddersfield Students' Union offers a designated service for potential and present students who want to live in private housing. HudLets delivers objective recommendations on housing opportunities and provides assistance and guidance to students in need of housing.

There are plenty of things to do in Huddersfield. On-campus, there are over a hundred clubs and societies to choose from, ranging from salsa dancing and theatre to American Football and Wing Chun Kung Fu. The Foreign Office sponsors the University's international societies, which are student-led organizations open to both students and employees at the University. Their mission is to embody diverse cultures, languages, and countries on and off-campus, to engage others, to teach and learn from one another, and to have fun while doing so.
