Step 5: work breakdown structure / gantt chart
Step 1: System Analyst Skills and Team Role Assignments
Please describe the skills needed for a Systems Analyst. Also discuss the roles that a project team fills.
Who will fill these roles on your team? This is your introductory statement for Systems Analysis and Design. Be as specific as possible. One page in length is sufficient. You can find information on Analyst roles in Chapter 1 of the textbook.

Step 4: Methodology Selection
Your textbook describes many system development methodologies. Select a methodology and explain your choice using the criteria outlined on pages 15-17. The Figure 1-8 is a great tool for comparison of methodologies. This is your project, and you must justify your decision-making. Remember, this is a writing intensive course. One page in length is sufficient.
Step 5: Work Breakdown Structure / Gantt Chart
Based on the development methodology you selected in Step 4, create a work plan for the project. A Work Breakdown Structure is a necessary tool for such a plan. Have you ever worked with a Gantt Chart? Perhaps Visio has a tool in its toolbox that will help build the Gantt chart.
