Structural Analysis of a Building using ETABS
Structural, Analysis &Optimization
This is a comprehensive hands-on training course on using ETABS v2013 to model, analyze, design and
detailed a Concrete Building Structure subjected to static gravity and lateral load. The course will also
include an introductory session on Seismic Analysis of a building structure.Who Should Attend
Any Civil and Structural Engineering student who has interest and passion for structural designing fieldETABS is a programme for linear, nonlinear, static and dynamic analysis, and the design of building systems. From an analytical standpoint, multistorey buildings constitute a very special class of structures and therefore deserve special treatment. The concept of special programmes for building type structures was introduced over 40 years ago and resulted in the development of the TABS series of computer programmes.
Upon completing the course, students should
fully understand the important concepts,
implementation, and applications of structural analysis using matrix formulation. They should
be able to apply the methods to analyze and ultimately develop the skills to understand behaviors
of large and complex structures.DAY 1 : MODELLING PROCESS AND TECHNIQUES4 Hr Theory 3Hr Practical
