| detail to show the approach used (e.g. survey) and explain the research methods to be used during the study. | The research has adopted an mixed method for understanding how the BI can be used for understanding the consumer behaviour. Systematic review of market trade publications was utilised to conduct this research. Publications from four retail trade journals were studied over a 5-year period using content analysis, which is a way of evaluating big text-based data sets to determine the magnitude of keywords and key phrases and to discern trends within the data. Although CRM research has been widely available since the early 2000s (Payne & Frow, 2005), Frasquet et al. (2002) indicated that a 5- year evaluation of the literature is sufficient to examine trends. To determine the trends and tactics linked to CRM adoption in the retail business, a focus on retail sector trade/management magazines was employed. For the investigation, we looked at retail- specific magazines that had the most articles about CRM. An environmental scan yielded a preliminary list of 34 articles. CRM and CRM were used in a keyword search to find the publications. The most significant. magazines that cover CRM from a management consulting viewpoint were identified as content shops, retail chain age, Harvard business analysis, and retailing future. |
