Mutations and gene flow

Four Types Of Evolution, Bad Sides Of Gene Engineering

Evolution happens when processes such as natural selection occurs resulting in certain characteristics becoming more common. The fossil record is a history of life documented by fossils and the remains and imprints of organisms from much earlier times. Over time changes have occurred in features of organisms living on the planet. One example of evidence from fossils is the transitional form of Pakicetids (an early ancestor to our modern whale) it had nostrils located at the front of its skull it has now evolved to the top of skull

There are four types of evolution, natural selection, genetic drift, mutations and gene flow. The two most relevant processes of evolutionary change is natural selection and genetic drift as these both have an important role in evolution.

Ethically how can good and bad uses of gene therapy be known, who decides which attributes are considered a disability or a disorder or what is normal and not, and a very moral and significant question would be could the widespread use of gene therapy make society, which is already extremely opinionated against people who want to an be individual, less accepting of people who are different?

Germline gene therapy definition germline gene therapy is process of genetically modifying sperm or egg cells to create a new offspring
