To start integrating e-commerce into International Plastics the company needs to create an e-commerce department. The e-commerce department will be responsible for responsible for developing an e-commerce presence map, a timeline and utilize search engine optimization services to begin the integration process. Web sites, e-mail, social media, and offline media are four different ways for International Plastics to implement the company's e-commerce presence (Laudon, 2016). Web sites, e-mail, social media, and offline media platforms are broken down into various ways of deployment [Lau16]. Multiple E-commerce platforms are; computers, smartphones, tablets, purchased and internal list, Facebook, Twitter, television, and radio. Activities that can be conducted on e-commerce platforms are search options, marketing display, newsletters, sharing of information, education, and company exposure (Laudon, 2016).
To measure goals and milestones the next step of e-commerce integration is to build a timeline consisting of six phases. The following are the six steps; planning, website
development, web implementation, social media implementation, and a mobile plan (Laudon, 2016). During the stages, the following must occur; create a mission statement, develop a

Executing security protocols using encryption for the International Plastics e-commerce website is a must to protect consumer's information. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a standard method of security for electronic commerce websites. As information is communicated over the internet, an encryption procedure occurs to safeguard the data. International Plastics must register in advance and pay a fee for an SSL certificate to valid that the website is secure and can be trusted (Booth, n.d.).
