UNIT 3: Coordinates Geometry and Circles
circle : Is the set of points which are all the same distance (its radius) from the center.
semicircle : Half of a circle.
minor arc : An arc that is smaller than a semicircle.
major arc : An arc that is larger than a semicircle. A major arc is named by three points, the first and last being its endpoints.
reflex angle : Between 180 and 360 degrees.
inscribed angle : An angle whose vertex is on a circle and whose sides contain chords of the circle.
sector of a circle : a region inside a circle bounded by two radii of the circle and their intercepted arc
segment of a circle : a part of a circle bounded by an arc and the segment joining its endpoints
inscribed circle : a circle in which each side of the polygon is tangent to the circle
