Strategy and Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality

The purpose of this individual assessment is to foster students’ ability to analyse and select the most appropriate contemporary leadership practices for the tourism and hospitality industries by in part demonstrating skills in critical leadership, problem-solving and reflective learning relating to the tourism and hospitality industry.

Assessment Instructions
During week 3, you are required to undertake the leadership compass self-assessment with the use of a working sheet and its instructions that is located under the assessments tab via MyKBS. The self-assessment will allow you to determine your preferred approaches to work/working styles.

The findings presented in this self-reflective video must be accompanied with PowerPoint slides and be based on a minimum of 10 scholarly and peer-reviewed sources of information that were published no longer than 5 years ago and relevant to the field of tourism and hospitality leadership. These sources must be presented in the video in the form of in-text citations and a reference listadhering with Kaplan Harvard Referencing Style. Wikipedia and other ‘popular’ sites are not to be used.
