Question 1. Systems Modelling
Explain how information systems modelling techniques can be used to describe technology to technical and non-technical staff members. Give examples using at least two modelling approaches discussed in the INFS1001 course.

Question 2. Making decisions and knowledge
Explain how a manager might use Simon’s rational decision-making model and the heuristics model to help them make a decision. What is the role of tacit and explicit knowledge in the decision-making process?

Question 1. Mobile Commerce and Data
A CIO of a large bank has retained your services in order to help them design and build a mobile commerce application. Their goal is to develop an application that enables their customers to easily access their banking information and conduct transactions such as review account balance, make transfers and send bill payments.

In your first meeting you are given the following information:
• The ability for a mobile user to easily access their accounts and transfer funds to other customers of the same bank is a key requirement.

•	There have been a number of data and security breaches among the bank’s

competitors.

Required:
Jane has hired you to provide her with guidance. Write a memo to Jane outlining your recommendations on what she should do. Describe any potential benefits of your recommendations, and any concerns that you might have.
