9. Reservations
9.1 Reservation of Seats for Scheduled Caste / Tribe Candidates
• In case, after giving 5% relaxation, the reserved seats still remain vacant, further relaxation would be given to the extent required in order to fill up all the reserved seats.(AC Resolution A88, 14.6.1983) (EC Resolution 157, 24121.2001).
Note: SC/ST students who get admission under open merit will not be included in the reserved quota i.e. 22.5%.
• It is a statutory obligation on the part of Colleges to fill all seats reserved OBC candidates.
• The Colleges shall not refuse admission to any OBC candidate on the basis of medium of instruction. Any deficiency in the knowledge of any particular language should be removed, remedial classes for which may be arranged by utilizing grants that are available from University Grants Commission.

Concessionl/Waiver of fees in respect of Persons With Physically Disabilities (PwD)
It is clarified further that the PwD students who are getting fellowships / financial assistance shall be exempted from payment of fees / charges / mess fees subject to the following conditions :

iii. Widows / Wards of Defence personnel who died in peace time with death attributable to military service;

9.7 Sports/ECA Quota
It is mandatory for all the Colleges to provide sports facilities and encourage all students to participate in sports and extracurricular activities by introducing inter-class competitions and mass sports.

5. The number of seats reserved for sports in each college shall confirm to University of Delhi regulations.
Note : Anundertaking shall be given by the finally selected candidates on Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- that “he / she will play for college and university, all the years, during his / her undergraduate course” at the time of admission.
4. The Sports Admission Committee shall screen / evaluate the applications, fitness and sports trails on the play field and recommend admission on the basis of sports, as per Evaluation Chart Shown (as per the New Sports Policy 2012).
5. The photocopies of the Sports Certificates should be accompanied by a photograph of the Sportsperson duly attested by the respective Issuing authority or Head of the Institution last attended.
A committee at the University level has been set up to scrutinize and supervise all admissions made on sports basis in colleges and to look into any complaint.

Guidelines for Extra CurricularActivities (ECA)
The following guidelines for admission to various undergraduate courses on the basis of Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) will be followed by all concerned:
iii) Weightage will be given to the certificates of winners/ participants at International, National, State, Zonal and

5. Not more than 15% concession in academic merit vis-à-vis general category candidates may be given for admission to specific courses (subject to the minimum eligibility of the course).
6. The trials for admission under ECA category shall be conducted by the ECAAdmission Committee. The ECA admission committee will be nominated by staff council of the college.

There will be two Admission Grievance Committees one for the North Campus located in the Dean Students’ Welfare Office and another for the South Campus located in the Deputy Dean, Students’ Welfare Office at South Campus.Every College shall have its own Grievance Committee, the information about which shall be displayed on the Notice Board of the College. Candidates having grievances about admission should first apply to Grievance Committee of the College. If necessary, they may apply to the Grievance Committee for the North or South Campus subsequently.
There will be separate Admission Grievance Committee to look into grievances of SC / ST / OBC / PwD category candidates.
