Hence, Combination will be,

2.5×102.5+10=2 Ω

The equivalent circuit will be,

VA=20×2/5

VA=8 V

VB=VA×R4/R2+R4 (see in the circuit reductions)

VB=8×5(5+5)

Ix=VB/10

Ix=4/10
