Introduction
In recent years, with the rise of online learning and virtual school,
many educational institutions have begun to rely more and more on online
video conferencing platforms to facilitate instruction and learning.
Zoom is widely used to host virtual classes, meetings, and more, as well
as for the attendance tracking of remote students. Zoom is a popular
video conferencing platform that enables users to host virtual meetings
and webinars. Moodle is an open-source learning management system used
by educators to create online courses and manage virtual classrooms.
This user manual provides a step-by-step guide to integrating Zoom with
Moodle using the Zoom plugin. In this project, we will be integrating
Zoom with Moodle, a Learning Management System (LMS). We will use Zoom
plugins to connect the two systems, downloading and displaying the
attendance report data on the Moodle UI dashboard.
Project Description
The objective of this project is to integrate the Zoom conferencing platform with Moodle, download the attendance report, and display the data of the attendance report on the Moodle UI dashboard. This integration will leverage the benefits of both platforms and allow for a seamless user experience when tracking remote student attendance. This user manual provides a step-by-step guide to integrating Zoom with Moodle using the Zoom plugin. It explains how to install and configure the Zoom plugin, create a Zoom meeting in Moodle, join the meeting and track attendance, and display the attendance report on the Moodle UI dashboard.
