A quality circle is the group of persons or employees of the organization who solve all the problems related to the tasks in order to maintain the quality in the operations of the organization which ultimately leads to the improvement in the overall quality of the organization. The responsibility of maintaining the quality of the tasks in the organization is given to all the employees of the teams of the quality circle. This helps in building mutual trust between the employees of the quality circles. The quality circle usually comprises of eight to ten members as the size of the circle is very small. The meetings are scheduled on the regular basis in the quality circles so as to ensure that everything is going on the same track as planned. The formation of the quality circles in the organization helps in improving the quality of the organization and its culture. This circles also develops team spirit among the individual who is the members of the team. Quality circles result in the overall development of the employees as they share the responsibility of completing the tasks and activities of the organization. Quality circle helps in improving the quality of the tasks that are being performed in the organization and also reduces the wastage in the organization as it allows optimum utilization of resources.
