Essay topic: topic of your choice related to French culture
Guidelines:
Choose a topic of your own interest related to French culture; i.e. history, politics, current affairs, society, architecture, art, cinema, music, language etc, and devise a research question.
Topic and research question to be approved by the lecturer prior to submission.
Research and write an essay of 1000 words (in English) on this topic (or an aspect of the topic – it is preferable to write in depth on one or two aspects than to try to include too much).
Include an introduction, development and conclusion.
In this task you will be assessed on your ability to:
1. develop a logical argument
2. be coherent, consistent and concise
3. provide evidence for your arguments
4. acknowledge sources
5. conform to directions
