Symbiosis term refers to the short or long duration of two organism consisting together in a close which one act as association in host to the other. They are categorized on the basis whether they are benefitting, harming or having no effect on each other as:
- Parasitism
- Mutualism

Parasitism is a symbiotic relationship in which one species act as host other live in it as endoparasites or on it as ectoparasites This is type (+) (-) interaction in which one species get benefitted at the expense of harm to other. In this type of relation both the host and parasite co-evolve together. The host will evolve in way that enables it to resist its parasite and similarly the parasite will find the ways the counter-act those resistance it is host of many parasites are specific to a particular species of host.
Endoparasites are parasites living inside the specific organs, or inside the bodies of their host.
E.g.: liver fluke, malarial parasite.
