At your company, someone was just fired becsue sensitive information related to the company product, was associated with their name on the internet.What if you were to do a search on your own name in a search enginge such as (www.google.com)just to see what was there?

a. Do you think there would be accurate information, what are the possibility of finding erroneous information that needs to be corrected.

b. What about finding information about other people with the same name? Could any of the information be damaging to your reputation if someone thought the other person was you?

c. Is there information that you find about your self or others that you think should not be available? Provide examples and an explaination of why you feel certain information should not be available.

d. Is there any information found at social network sites (such as http://www.myspace.com or http://www.facebook.com) that could be damaging to an individual if an employer of school administrator were to see it?
