We conducted a survey on students to know their preferences for library timings, wherein a vast majority responded that they would prefer having the library open at night. Also, most of the students were of the view that they were unable to visit the library more than once a week because of the current timings and hence, requested for an extension of library hours. Considering the upcoming placement schedule as well the demanding academic calendar, it would be immensely beneficial to the students if they have increased access to the library facilities. Hence, I request you to kindly look into the proposal and respond positively in the interest of the students.
