I have built Ion Trap Lab, Department of Physics Bangalore University Bangalore almost single handedly.

The following are the areas related to my work:

Ph.D. in Physics under the guidance of Dr.Sharath Ananthamurthy, at Bangalore University, submitted the thesis entitled “Spectroscopy of electron and ions in electromagnetic traps” in the month of October 2010. Viva Scheduled on 7^th April. Award of degree expected around 15^th of April.

1. Received “Best thesis Award” in DAE-BRNS Symposium held at Dharwad on 22-25 February 2011.

6. Set up the Fabry Perot Etalon experiment, which has been included as one of the experiments for Spectroscopy (Elective) for M.Sc, at the Department of Physics, Bangalore University *.

7. Attended the SERC School on "Precision Spectroscopy of Atoms, Molecules and Bose Condensates”, at IISc Bangalore.

Laboratories built

1. Computer Lab, Alvas College Moodbidri 1999-2000.

• Designed and fabricated thermionic electron source.

• Designed and constructed a detection circuit of high Q factor operating at 14 MHz, in collaboration with BARC, most of the work was done by the BARC group.

Additional Degree/Diploma

1. Certificate in Java programming -NIIT, March 2000

3. Familiarity with Mathematica, Matlab and Python for solving equations.

4. Developed advanced programs for acquisition and control on Lab View.

Weak points: Not comfortable with highly monotonous and routine jobs.
